Bigaagarri is an Aboriginal word for danger or threat– it means to stay back and keep safe. It is a gifted word and cultural concept from our Muruwori and Gumbaynggirr Aboriginal researcher Phillip Orcher. Bigaagarri represents all the dangers we have in our lives which may impact on our individual and community well-being.
We invite crowds (mob) to share what keeps their social and emotional well-being safe?. Your contributions will be shared on the ALIVE National Community Crowdsourcing Space.
Other people can also vote for what they like the most. Things in the TOP five voted for by the crowds can be partnered with to co-create for the bigaagARri platform.
What do you need to do?
Share the ideas you have or are using for keeping your social and emotional well-being safe. Please draw, or create short 3-5 minute videos, 1-2 minute audio files or drawings, a painting or a poster or even a poem to describe keeping your social and emotional well-being safe.
